At Bluebird Growers we design and install native-forward, Florida-adapted landscapes that grow more beautiful, resilient, and useful over time. We begin every project with the soil. Our focus is on building healthy, living foundations that support lasting gardens. Our work is about restoring ecology, supporting pollinators, and creating outdoor spaces that feel natural, purposeful, and deeply rooted in place. Ongoing support, education, and long-term thinking are part of how we work. Each garden we create is as unique as the land it grows on and the people who tend it. Every project investment includes:
• A personalized landscape vision shaped by your space and how you live in it
• A curated plant palette of native and Florida-adapted species chosen for beauty and resilience
• Inspiration imagery to help you visualize the direction of the garden
• Full installation by our team with thoughtful care and clear communication
We begin with an in person conversation to understand your goals, your land and your vision. From there, we discuss scope, timing, and next steps. After the consultation, we create a project visual that include concept drawings, a plant list, material considerations, and a project proposal tailored to your space. Once approved, we schedule installation and handle the full process from soil preparation to plant placement and finishing details. Gardens are living systems. We’re happy to answer questions, offer seasonal guidance, and support you as your landscape grows and settles in. Since every project and landscape is different pricing reflects the size, scope, and complexity of each project.
As a general guide:
In person consultations - $150
Small garden installations typically begin around $2000
Medium-scale residential landscapes often range from $4000-$6000
Larger or more complex projects may exceed $10,000+
Workshops
Bluebird Growers offers hands-on workshops for schools, garden clubs, private gatherings, and community groups who want to learn by doing. Nick, our resident horticulturist (and Midwestern cheesemaker), leads a wide range of approachable, engaging topics, from pollinator planting and herb gardening to cheese making and coffee roasting. Each workshop is grounded in curiosity, practical skills and a genuine love for sharing skills.Whether your group is large or cozy, indoors or outdoors, our workshops are designed to be memorable, interactive experiences. We’ve had the pleasure of hosting workshops at spaces like Jenna Alexander’s Art Studio, The Heirloom Yard, Congaree & Penn, Spruce Jax, Make Space and more.
